I read this news yesterday and I was pissed. Click here to read it. Basically Tan Sri Vincent Tan is defending the legalisation of sports betting. He is calling on all parties to look at the broader picture, what broader picture? Why am I even pissed? Let me tell you why.
He wants to legalise sports betting so he can make a ton of money, so of course he will defend it. If I can have a gambling license I will defend legalisation of sports gambling with my life. Since I will not have a chance to own a gambling license, all I will say is, fuck you.
Illegal gambling and sports gambling will always be around whether or not it is legalised. Why? If I can’t get a fucking license, I’ll just do it illegally. I will make so much money, you can shut me down every month and I will still make a fucking profit.
Legalised sports betting avenues will only benefit certain people; the people that got “connections” to get the license. For the other poor old bastards like you and me that cant get a fucking license, will have to do it illegally. Not that I’m saying I’m an illegal bookie or anything.
Lets not be naive, we don’t want to legalise sports betting because we don’t “you and your friends” getting any richer than you already are. Lets not bullshit each other. Illegal cyber cafe casinos are every where. EVERYWHERE. If there is a block of shop lots there is an illegal cyber cafe casino.
Want to stop illegal gambling and betting? Catch the people responsible. If I know who they are, I’m sure you know who they are. As for legalising sports betting? Sounds more like a “get richer quicker” scheme to me.
Please Mr. Government people, if you legalise sports betting please give me a license. I promise to be a good boy from then on and only blog about food and travelling. I will never ever say the word fuck ever again. Before I sign out, may I quote The Star.
